Samira joined AC Ventures Principal of Value Creation where she has built and leads value creation and portfolio advisory. She is responsible for the strategic and operational support which include growth, corporate governance, business development and government relations, organization and capital advisory.

Samira is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive in Indonesia. After spending more than 25 years abroad, Samira decided to return to Indonesia in 2014 in realization of SEA’s opportunity in the tech and digital landscape. She began her career as a tech entrepreneur building a SaaS for the hospitality industry. She then continued her career in a strategic role for a private equity consulting firm, in which she has been involved in setting up operations, management and marketing structures for newly invested businesses.

Samira has served as Chief Executive Officer for Indonesia’s leading sustainable fashion marketplace since 2016. A venture backed startup that has grown to be the leading preloved ecommerce in Indonesia. Other than that, supporting and empowering women has become one of Samira’s drivers to found Stellar Women, a platform for women leaders and entrepreneurs.

She is a mom, with two daughters and enjoys marathon training during her free time.

She has a Bachelors in Economics, Psychology, and International Studies from Penn State University and MBA from Santa Clara University.
