Devina A. Sormin

Devina is a licensed Indonesian lawyer with more than 5 years of experience in HHP Law Firm (a member firm of Baker McKenzie). She was involved in various deals on debt restructuring, M&A, arbitration as well as dispute resolution. She was also a member of Baker Mckenzie’s pro bono committee, which provides pro-bono legal guidelines to various NGOs in Indonesia.

Devina graduated from Universitas Indonesia with a cum laude predicate and participated in various moot court competitions, including the most prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration, where she and her team received an unprecedented Werner Melis Honourable Mention.

Besides working as a lawyer, Devina also enjoys teaching. She has been invited several times to become a guest lecturer in public and private law schools in Indonesia, where she was able to channel her aspiration and passion for contributing to the development of academic law discussions.
